Description
A daring attempt to copy/replicate and paint after the style of the master in this open space art gallery of sorts at a neighborhood that I painted 10 years ago! This is the fourth in my series of flowers by Vangogh. And am now coming back full circle to this place again to restore and add new ones and bring to life this place! Whoever heard of a Vangogh town here Singapore?! Well some people did travel and make a trip down here. With the aftermath of the Vangogh Immersion Experience held at Sentosa which spanned approx 6 mths till end Oct, I hoipe this w instill continued interest, awareness and education for generations...I feel very honored and humbled at the same time to be invited to do this! Memories of the wheatfields with irises, starry night by the River Rhone, the seascape at Sainte-Maries and the almond blossoms on the large walls I did came flooding back....Talk about the Celestine Prophecy! I was waiting actually for a project to start somewhere else and while waiting, I was approached to do this which was pretty short notice....The Universe does sometimes take over our own expectations and I allow that to happen cos what happens is always for some reason! And it's not a mere coincidence - it's a 'causal' coincidence caused by a delay or something else and it happens replacing something we expect to happen but didn't happen. I was just informed of this phenomenon through a client who recently commissioned me to do a portrait of Vincent painted by John Peter Russell. And now this! So it's like 3 happenings in a row and they are all about Vincent Van Gogh!
