Everything around reminds me of him now. Been feeling a bit blah after the trip cos I am missing the beautiful nature and scenery in the towns he went to live and paint. Been wanting to do this for a long time and last night, the thought came and I quickly jumped in cos if I left it, I would procrastinate and this feeling may not come around again soon..I spent around 3 hours and it was way my usual bed time but once you are engrossed in it, you don't stop and you got in the Zone and lost in time and space...
Getting back to brush strokes again...and it's a good feeling. I still prefer the brush but will do pencil as well whenever I am travelling...

Ahh love it Belinda, one must jump on when the motivation and inspiration is there. Wow, wonderful painting...great brushwork and palette inspired by an artist who has prompted many to think outside the box. I often think of taking on the night hours to paint because i'm somehow in that moment to create. Cheers, fantastic work!
