Description
I found three paintings that I did in May this year and would like to share with you all. I have decided that there are certain work done outdoors that I won't touch up and leave them as they are...cos they captured the real thing as I see it in the very light at that very moment.. The song by Karen Carpenter 'Close to You' comes to mind as I was thinking what to call it. I acquaint this to a beautiful woman that I came so close to that day and realised I was standing and sitting on a very ancient historical site. I was taken in by the faces that were carved and each is a different face facing the four corners of the world. I am living and breathing in history itself. I wish the same experience for you. Painting outdoors is truly an Experience in itself and I feel that if the old masters are still around today they would still prefer to paint in the outdoors rather than looking at a reference if the weather permits...Thank you for visiting!
