Life is But Just a Dream that we drift through it...with laughter and sadness along the way, with hope and at times unexplained meaninglessness. I wanna wake up to another world that's more beautiful with nary a care, lots of love to be had and freedom from all worries...If only...and that we shall see....Rest well, and be at peace for now you are free from your earthly burdens...A tribute to the most famous travelling chef of our time...This is my second drawing of him this time using a new different medium that I had always wanted to learn...Going back to the basics - the foundation. Portraits have always been my fav subject cos it's with those eyes that tell a story and so much more. They say the eyes are the mirrors to one's life and experiences--they either tell a lie or the truth. It's good to be back at a studio again cos I wanna totally focus and immerse myself at it without any interruptions or distractions in a real studio setting. I am still learning and will do more with this medium. It's also less messy than paints.

This is really beautiful, Belinda. A memorable piece with a thought provoking description... but I have to say- I'm much messier with charcoal than with paints lol!! You seem to have perfect control. LF
