The Face
Excellent Self-Taught Artists. My last instalment on the wall. This is supposed to convey a strong message at the way the environment has been abused and mishandled. But it is also about the feeling of not being able to do anything about the person or situation. And it's only out of love that we let the person go. Thank you for your visit.

Very striking and moving image - so much story and emotion in these eyes ... a great piece of art!
Belinda Low replied:
Matt - Thanks again for your visit and for taking time your time to feedback so positively.. The reference that I used was that of a younger girl. I tried to portray that look depicting a little annoyance, helplessness and sadness of something beyond us...
Dariusz Orszulik

Shirley Sirois
This is a most unique and emotive portrait!........v/f.
Belinda Low replied:
Thank you kindly Shirley! Someone commented this looked a bit like me! Anyways, it's not a true person - I used a few references to come up with this face to portray a feeling or expression of being exasperated with environmental abuse.
Janet Felts
This is very touching, beautiful work v
Belinda Low replied:
Janet - I paint with what and how I feel about things. Painting to me is a means to put forth a voice cos when it's said verbally, they are not understood or they are usually filtered out and not listened to...I thank you for your visit and understanding of my feeling in this....Cheers!
James Huntley
I love street art...and this expression on this one is very enigmatic.
Belinda Low replied:
Thanks v much, James. Before I painted this, I was a bit hesitant as to how I was going to portray her feelings about the abuse of the environment and how she has to come to terms knowing how helpless a small little voice can be. But nevertheless it was still a voice however small it was...
