The second wall that is a continuation of the first. This time, the mother and child is in a different more endearing pose. According to the owner, it seems there are more autistic boys than girls hence the drawing of another boy here. The theme is still a floral one and this time, the sunflowers are bigger. The leaves on the wall are supposed to blend in with those on the tree that's above and on the other side of the wall in the garden. There are only THREE big sunflowers -- the number three in Cantonese 'SUM' has the sound of Life and is another auspicious number. The sunflower is also synonymous with Hope as the image is supposed to evoke a sense of not only love but also a message of hope for both mother and child. And why the mother and not the father you may ask. It's always and in most cases, it's the mother who takes on the role of main caregiver while the father shows his love in a different way.
