This must be my Longest wall yet in terms of length. A total of 4 walls--this is the first wall. Will show the second and third in separate posts. This one measures approximately 2m x 9m or 6 ft x 18 ft. It was a therapy for autistic children - a place where they can learn the necessary skills to help them function in society. It's also a support centre for parents of children with such special needs. There are not many such centres in our country at the moment. Many autistic children grow up to be adults who have no skills and can't integrate into society. They remain at home most of the time. It was a heartfelt experience for me. Will post the other walls as we go along.
Some people commented that this looks familiar. Yes it's the same floral theme as the one I did in Holland Village/Chip Bee Gardens but this time, without the parrots and the toucans. Instead, I have added the mother and child (son) and a little touch of Van Gogh with his sunflowers which stand for Hope. This wall is all about showcasing a mother's great and sacrificial love for her child and her enduring support in this cause to ensure that he or she gets on with life without her in the long run...
