Time seems to standstill when you take your time those days. And when you have to wait for your turn, you simply read the news...
One of several walls recently finished at another neighborhood--this time depicting the outdoor barber. A tribute to a vanishing trade and also featuring one such barber Lee Yoon Tong who is still plying his trade at a side street lane at Boon Tat Street in the business district. I wanted to immortalise him on the wall.
My colleague has his hair cut by him every 1-2 weeks to support him. Was informed that he is a humble man and goes all the way out to take his time and cut - no rushing and just doing a service. And his cost are real cheap compared to today's prices. He even has expatriates as his clients! Hence his image on the wall! You go uncle!
