Staying home has been pretty productive cos there is nowhere to go and not much to do besides doing what I liked best! This is the best time to brush up, exercise and do studies of various different subjects. I haven't done seascapes for some time now. When I came across this artwork, I took a liking to it immediately. This one is inspired by an artwork by Californian impressionist artist, William F Ritschel (born in Germany) 1864-1949. I took the challenge and painted this on an available canvas at home.

The swirling salmon colored waves in the foreground are a perfect accompaniment to the silhouetted boats as they float in the light. like/f
