Description
A submission for the upcoming "Older but Wiser" Exhibition in collaboration with The Very Quiet Studio, My Art Space, ActiveSenior and Analog Film Lab to be held on 5-18 December at the Foothills Fort Canning Park in Galeri Utama and Galeri Nila. I had to interpret the b/w photo using colors on canvas for this photo that I had selected for the exhibition. I had few memories of both my maternal and paternal grandfathers as they passed on when I was very young. Painting this evoked a kind of feeling and imaginery closeness to a grandfather I never was close and never knew. I hope and trust that you will cherish the grandfather who is around now taking care of you and that he will much blessed with good health and happiness in your walk together.
