This was my very first commissioned wall project for 2018! Completed in just two days over the weekend, I trust the owner will find much happiness as he chills with his family at the rooftop terrace garden he had built in their new home which they intend to move in soon before the Chinese New Year in February. He was one of my best clients as he left all to me and trusted me with my work and imagination to give him what he wanted - a bird park right in his house! He was inspired by the FEELS wall with the parrots at Holland Village that he wanted something similar. I thus added more variety of birds like the two cockatoos, the toucans, the kingfisher and the hummingbirds. I felt blessed in that despite the rainy season, that on Day 1, the rain came but only for a while and I was able to do quite a bit but it returned when I called it a day. Day 2 - although it was forecasted to be rainy again, it was hot and sunny all day! As a result, I got sun-burned but I really don't mind it all. I guess I am used to it by now. The birds came and sat around chirping away and I was delighted to see them. Perhaps they really thought those birds on the wall were real! All in all, I am thankful for another experience and opportunity like this.
