This is the latest installment in the same housing estate that I did Starry Night. I have added birds sitting on the branches and some flying to add more interest. The concept is taken from Van Gogh's almond blossoms which was dedicated to his nephew. I painted this with a local twist with white purplish orchids instead of cherry blossoms. The chair and the floor were added intentionally and so is not cropping the picture. I may need to go back and touch it up some time soon.

A Big Thank You! to Anthony Mwangi for featuring this in his great 'Peopleless Scenic Landscape Paintings' Group!

The elegance of the tree and blossoms, set against the brick wall, is a pleasing emotional and visual contrast. The soft use of blues and greens in the background is pleasing as well.

Love your mural, with birds v
Belinda Low replied:
Hi Beth - Glad you noticed the birds - the downside of painting murals here is that once it's considered finished, there is little chance of me getting back there to touch up or add...I would love to add more birds and clouds etc to this piece...Oh Well...Have a great weekend where you are, dear. :-D
Susanne Baumann
What a beautiful wallpaint - I would have liked to have this in my house, or in my terrasse :o)
Belinda Low replied:
Thanks v much, Susanne for liking this. I want to go somewhere where there is a demand for murals to be painted at garden walls and houses so I can paint all day and every day! :-)
Bonnie Mason
I love it, Belinda! You definitely made this your own...somehow being on the tile makes it more impressionistic and fascinating......LF
Belinda Low replied:
Thanks Bonnie! Even tho we thinkk we have completed this, to me the ever critical self of my work, I wished always that there is more time for me to go back and touch it up! I feel blessed and grateful for your continuing support dear! :-)
