This was my very first experience at painting a wedding LIVE! on the night itself. It was pretty challenging. I took it home thereafter and touched it up. This is not a trend here but from what I understand from the groom, when I googled, I found that this has been a trend to have live painting during weddings in the US! I hope the trend will kick off here and dare say if I am the first one doing this that there will be more people liking this. This has a been a grat learning experience for me as it's a study of many fine details. As you can see from the work itself, the couple's faces, those of the parents, and the table setting et cetera all adds up and exudes the ambience and mood for the night -- a work that the couple will remember always!
Notwithstanding the amount of time spent in finalising this, I guess the hard work paid off when I see happy and satisfied faces - a contribution this time to two people who dedicated their lives to each other. Although the groom requested the title to be named after the song he sang that night to his bride, I chose the song by Heatwave as it has a nice melody and the words are meaningful to me that is. Here goes:
